Looks like the Big 10 is going to take it. Wisconsin leads Miami 24-14 at half. Mark Richt grabbed an official right before the half, lucky he wasn't tossed.

Sun Belt finishes 2nd overall and 1st in G5 for the 2nd year in a row. Great job!

Ark does typically smash conference foes while they struggle vs OOC opponents the since App and Southern entered the conference. It does make the conference look bad that one of their elite teams can’t defeat OOC teams

We are well aware of that. Not that anyone here would let us forget.

As a fan, I'm not happy with it. That said, we've earned our stripes in this conference. You move ups have done very well but, as GS has seen, we all have our periods of down time. stAte will overcome this and get the monkey off our back. It's a matter of time is all.

We've all lost OOC games we should have won. Let's just say the Belt had the best record of the G5 and leave it at that. Be glad we're not the Pac 12 or is it 10 these days? They really stunk it up this bowl season.

I wonder where these added wins put us in the G5 playoff money hierarchy?

According to Forbes, the G5 collective pool is $81.32 million this year. While it has never been formally disclosed how it's divided, many reports claim the G5 split $60 million equally and the remainder is divided based upon overall conference performance (via computer rankings), one through five. I don't think it's really a significant difference between one to five, though. The AAC is the ultimate winner with the extra $4 million for UCF's berth in the Peach Bowl that they alone split.
