Right, coach went 7-3 his first year at Prattville and it was all smoke, mirrors and want to-just like this season.

I would prefer giving Mark Freeman a shot at transitioning from outstanding HS head coach to college OC. He really has a great mind for offense.
I like Vincent as position coach also.
I will also support Koenning's stay at OC. Not sure there is any sign that Koenning won't be here.

This.

The problem is lack of bullets for the gun. Let’s see what happens when we get sone speed at WR, Improve the TE position. Add a RB with some break away speed and add some real OTs. I think we will address many of our needs on both sides of the ball and let’s judge the OC with a loaded gun.

Guys we have been doing it with smoke and mirrors and won 8 games. We have had some high powered offenses not even sniff more than 4 wins.

If we like some of us can’t acknowledge this for some reason. We are a couple plays away from .500, and lost to two of the worst teams in the country. I’m proud of coach and this team, but we were never a typical d1 team this year. Things will get better in the future.

Exactly. Coach used smoke and mirrors to get to 8 wins. Had we opened up we probably would have finished the season with Binn or had to burn TJs redshirt and I would bet the farm we would not have more than 6 wins at best.

Enjoy the great season and let’s sell tickets and support what coach is building.

Give to the Coaches Excellence fund.

We haven’t all year. You of all people know that Dee. A lot of the guys we took chances on didn’t make the cut, and we wound up with a bit of a patchwork roster in places. A couple more recruiting classes will have us right where we need to be.

So the 8 wins means no bullets. I thought certain guys played out of position. Never thought we didn't have the bullets.

How do you know this? You watch practice day after day? Again, the coaches watched these players day after day in practice and felt they were most needed where they put them. I assume you did not watch them in practice. Did you?

Lol this is irrelevant did I coach them lmao.

A lot of these guys had juco coaches and hs coaches whom played them at certain positions guess they can't coach a lick.

Copeland a three star QB
Curtis a hs all American OLineman
Haden was more of a RB could've been Sproles
D.Davis is an athlete played some RB
Jones a DL
Williams a LB

And they produced at those spots.

Add a few more
J.Davis
D. Galten
Brooks

Yes, we had the ammo to get to 8 wins. No, we did not have the ammo to look flawless like some of you want us to be. In year one. lol

Now some wanted things flawless. Ball State showed it wasn't gonna be that. But it could've been with this type of schedule (soft).

Well I'm looking at a disappointing early signing day, and bowl game. Soon looking forward to regular signing day and the spring practices.

Will Hall would be a very strong hire, but Les is on nobody's radar. I'm not convinced he is going anywhere.
