We stayed in Birmingham last night. Will be at the parade and pep rally tonight

If you're going to the parade, make sure you're downtown no later than 5 as parking/traffic is tough.

Three great places to watch the parade:

1. Anywhere along Bienville Square specifically in front of the Hilton Garden Inn. New hotel that has a covered patio with bar/restaurant right on the parade route.

2. Candlewood Suites parking lot

3. Battle House Hotel lobby entrance - grab a drink/bite to eat and watch parade right in front of hotel

Keep in mind parade ends shortly after Battle House so riders may be low on throws. Bienville Square is towards beginning

Don't know if this is in another thread but there's a forecast high of 72, low of 45 for Saturday in Mobile. Thunderstorms in the morning but only a 10% chance of rain Saturday night, according to the Weather Channel site.

I'm not going but was wondering is the occasion of the parade for the bowl game or for the city of Mobile?

Looks like the line of rain has already passed. That's great.

I believe the parade is for the bowl event.
