I just hope we get a dual threat qb, if we can find one I say we got a shot against stAte since that division currently is stAte and teams that stAte beats

Most of those didn’t even play when we put 50 on UNT yesterday... New QB will be even better, he’s had playing time this year as well

Backup QB Zac Thomas and recruit Stephon Brown(if we can hold on to him) are both dual threat guys with more natural talent than Lamb has. If they can find his decision making ability I'm not worried about our QB situation next year.

we were basically playing all back ups and some back ups of the back ups... We have loads of depth.

Neal Brown says it was just the next man up mentality. The younger boys stepped up.

Didn't realize Troy had the corner on that mentality.

Neal Brown in 3 years

2015: 4-8 season (many near misses including a OT loss to App state in Boone)

2016: 10-3 season ( nearly upset Clemson on the road and made national news with it, went on a 7 game win streak beat App State got ranked in top 25 and won the bowl game against MAC runner up Ohio)

2017: 11-2 season (lost a close game to Boise State, beat ranked LSU on the road which hasn’t been done by non SEC since 2000 beat stAte on the road, SBC
Co-Chanps, have a top 20 defense, beat CUSA runner up North Texas by 20 points in bowl. And could still get ranked)

Do you really think Troy with keeping their coaches in tack will Not win atleast 9 games next year you got to be kidding yourselfs with what’s returning, Silvers and Chunn didn’t make this team go round by themselves.

Aye, Lamb was a pretty smart player, without that I doubt he would of stayed the starter, he def. Was not the most talented player on the field ever, if they got half his game sense and the talent we saw in the qbs we used before Lamb will be a damn good player

80% of what’s needed to play QB is between the ears. A lot of physical specimens end up being busts. To that point Tom Brady is not the most physically talented QB in the NFL. We had a guy named Nick Arbuckle who definitely was not the most physically talented QB on the roster he played on! But I would take Nick over anyone.

Arkansas State vs. Troy

I think Justice Hansen will be improved, plus some good WR's come back. I think Justin McInnis is the best WR in the Sun Belt and will be an NFL draft pick. RB Warren Wand comes back.

Defensively I believe StAte has enough talent to be good again. Hard to replace Liner and Rolland-Jones, but StAte usually has a decent defense every year... better than most SBC teams at least.

Troy's defense will be really good again next season. A lot of key starters back and a lot of backups that were good enough to start.

Offense should be in good shape too. WR group has quite a bit of experience, especially the New Orleans Bowl all-star Damion Willis. RB Jamarius Henderson will be back. And the dual-threat QB (Kaleb Barker) will be a good one. He may be able to take Troy's offense to a whole new level.

Verdict is still out on Georgia Southern and App State. IDK if the Mountaineers have a reliable QB for next season at this point. I also don't think Georgia State will have quite enough pieces to make it either. Probably one more season, maybe two until Elliot really gets things rolling big-time there.

USA def won't be in the Championship game.

9 including the championship and bowl game or 9 regular season? 9 in the regular season will be impressive, but I don't think it happens.
