Time to pick out some new upgrades! Basketball? Baseball? Softball? I recall how big those $250K donations were during the Hollis/Roberts years.

Very little Walmart money, if any, comes to stAte . . . not sure about other athletics programs.

Our new sugar daddy is a banker who grew up across the street from stAte, went to K-3rd at stAte, and played FB at stAte.

Wal-Mart is headquartered about 25 miles from Fayetteville, and Sam Walton is a huge pig donor. We’re lucky to get a dime. Our biggest donors are all alumni

So this guy basically is to StAte what T. Boone Pickens is to Oklahoma State?

Sam was never a big UA athletics donor. His brother and some of his kids were. His brother is the Walton of Bud Walton arena.

Pretty much all of the Walmart and Tyson Foods money that finds its way into athletics goes to SOW (the school out west). Stephens, Inc. has done big plays for SOW and UALR and I think they put some facility money into UAPB. A-State gets some Stephens but no big plays.

Never heard of Dillards or Acxiom putting anything into athletics.

If you really want to see how divided this state really is, follow the money. It's telling.

Bud's from my hometown. His kids and ex wife are big donors to Mizzou and Central Missouri. Arena is the big donation to Arkansas.

I dont think GS ever sells naming rights to our field or stadium but who knows. Maybe with the new basketball arena that will eventually be built.

We've gotten naming rights for the football stadium and basketball arena for $15 million. On top of that the football field was named after the Allison family for a personal $5 million donation.

I think there needs to be a "Cotham's Burger Bowl" in LR at (was it called war memorial?) with stAte vs a conference team. Sponsored also by 7th St Tattoos and Vino's. I'd be there in a heartbeat. Have the ladies that dance in a metal building between Jacksonville and Cabot do a dance routine at halftime.

Basically, would stAte allow the possibility of playing SBC championship in Little Rock?
