RE: Savannah State
Let me do the Math. With a opening game like this, and yes, Just was told that we were lucky to have a opening game next year. I would say we will be lucky to get 1/3 of our home attendance of last year this year Al. St. and then they Savanah St. will bring like friends and family members so like maybe a 1k. So were sitting at about 15k for the first game that should be fun. Guess were lucky to have a first game though, that should bode well for future expansion hope the second game is more exciting.

Pulling a 1/3 of the crowd out of thin air is not doing math.

Why are we lucky to have an opening game next year?

I stopped reading when you said, "let me do the math."
I decided to watch paint dry, which was way more interesting than your post.

We always draw really well for the first game of the year. I'm not worried about being anywhere near 15k. Savannah State will draw about like Rice or UTEP. Maybe most of the players' parents will be there.

It'll be fun playing Tulane again at home two weeks after this game.

Heard scholarship should not be an issue and the game will count towards bowl eligibility.

Is it too early to predict a 3-0 start next year?

I think the team we start next season with will be much better than the team that beat Coastal earlier this season.

I believe you are absolutely correct. I don't think we lose to Ball St. this year if we played them a month later. We are going to be better coming out of the blocks next season.

Home opener after a winning season has always pulled over 20k. That includes Montana state I think
