It's a Festivus Miracle
I posted this on the Rice board too but we got real snow overnight in Houston - just the 6th time I can recall snow in Houston in my 31 years here. Mostly on the cars and roofs but it was more than a dusting too.

I imagine a few of our southern neighbors will get some snow too (UTSA did and probably La Tech, USM and UAB too should see quite a bit of snow today.

And since this is the CUSA board, you may now air your grievances.

It's been snowing for a few hours now in Baton Rouge. Rooftops, cars, and lawns are all covered, but roads are not.

We got snow in San Antonio as well. It was awesome. My kids (and I) were losing their minds.

Wow that's awesome, how much did you get? Crazy some winters Texas has gotten more snow than we have in Lexington...

We got at least 4 to 5 inches where I live just outside San Antonio. It’s been 30 years since we got “real” snow here.

That's great. I'm sure the kids in those areas are having a blast.

My family came to TN for Xmas one year hoping to see snow, but it ended up snowing in Galveston where they traveled from. No snow in TN, but they were able to get home in time to see some still on the ground in G-Town.[/align]

I made a snowman for the first time in my life last night in SA! It was cool watching grown adults act like kids.

DFW didn't get any, and we're typically good for at least a few inches of snow a year. Nature's pissin me off this year.

If you're buying roux, you're doing it wrong!

Nothing but rain here south of new orleans...

Starting to snow on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in Hancock County. Beach snow is strange.
