Fail to see why anyone gets so riled up on a message board. It’s supposed to be a fun way to spend some time, and controversy makes the spin room even more entertaining. That’s the point to give and take. Regarding bets for lifetime band...I think they’re pretty stupid. No better than children on a playground.

Lush I'm taking a break because I respect LS and the mods. They are 100% wrong in this instance but I do run a community where I have had to warn/ban people. It sucks

I may come back to the regular room eventually. This is not a "I'm holding my breath until I get what I want" moment. This is simply deciding where to spend time posting about things.

Either here, where I've "been warned" because I put up *one* post per thread about JD's welshing, or somewhere else where I can joke around without stirring the pot too much.

Spin Room moderators all agree that we will always keep the airing of dirty laundry to PMs with individuals and not make decisions public. We simply will not discuss specifics about other posters. I assure you in no uncertain terms you all want that courtesy.

But I will state again that the moderators of this forum and other important site individuals discussed in detail what it means to make a bet in general and then the results of a bet.

Now we understand that doesn't necessarily quiet an unruly mob but no matter how fair you try to be, 1/3 of the members will perceive bias. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . Considering how long we have been doing this here we moderators have come to terms with that. But I want to remind everyone as well that all mods on csnbbs are volunteers, we are not perfect, we can be inconsistent, we are not full time, we travel, we have family, we go places on weekends, and yet we still try our hardest to try to keep a handle on this place.

It's not easy. We do listen. But we are not your personal army.

Let's close this chapter. Things have been handled.
