You get a friendly crew keeping stats and your PBU numbers can climb a little bit higher than others, just like tackles (why some places are WAY higher than others).

Well I'm not looking at tackles for CB....if they're high on tackles then they're either not stopping pass completions or your defense is absolute trash.

Places like PFF have watched Brinson too and rated him high consistently, independent of any member schools. He's good.

I hate we have to argue about this, if we had an 8/9 win season he'd be first team right now and Vildor would likely be 2nd or 3rd team and this would be a moot discussion.

Not saying he's not a good player, just saying that those are four pretty damn good DBs on the list. I would probably have him over Taylor, but like I said, too much hype out there for Taylor that he got on based on his name.

You've got the DPOTY and two other guys who are tied for the interceptions lead -- tough sledding this year, just like the DL. SBC offenses were down from a star standpoint this year, not the case on defense.

Not all of those DBs are corners. Safeties DO have to make tackles. Jeremy Reaves makes a lot of them.

Over which one of those DBs?
all of them

If there's a better corner in the league than him, I haven't seen him.

He's tied with Duck in interceptions, tied for second in passes broken up, and even against Auburn no one was able to get the best of him.

Not even being a homer, there were few bright spots for the Eagles this year Brinson was lock down as it gets. Had few penalties and only one really bad moment in the CCU game that I remember. If there are better they are draft picks for sure because if Brinson did what he did this year moving forward he will be at least a 2nd round pick.

Had some bright spots at RB and DL and Werts grew up a lot. Other than that all about right. Bass was rock solid kicking but is young so going with an upperclassmen is OK.

Eight first teamers - a record that will stand in a 12 member SBC for obvious reasons.

App loses NINE all conference players next year, Satt has his work cut out for him.

ARKST losses Dee Liner and their all world DE Rolland Jones. Troy losses Silvers, Chunn, and some other key players.

A lot of people penciling in these three teams. We all have a lot of work to do if we want to be at the top of the league.
Offensively, ASU returns Hansen, 4 OL, our best WRs and our top RB. We have to replace Mack and need to upgrade at RB but the offense should be as good or better in 2018.

Got some key losses on defense for sure but rotated a lot of guys and have some good depth.

Hansen being back should keep us in the mix again in 2018.

It would be awesome if we could watch the 1st team O and 2nd team D take on the 1st team D and 2nd team O. I really like the make up of the 1st team D, especially the DL.

Congrats to all the players who were recognized!

The All-SunBelt Game and invite scouts. I agree it would be cool to see.
