Question about ticket prices
Didn't want to muddy this into the attendance thread, but Marshall fans have been having ongoing discussions on what we can do about declining attendance. One of the things often thrown out is offering a certain number of "economy" tickets to lure in more families. Just curious as to what the lowest amount someone can walk in to a game for at the other conference schools. As of right now it's $25 at Marshall for an endzone seat and they run some family 4-pack deals for $80.

RE: Question about ticket prices
UAB sells general admission seats at $20 with some higher costed premium seats via some boxes and season ticket purchases. We can't create the demand some of you guys can due purely to how large our stadium is.

RE: Question about ticket prices
I rode through the UAB campus back in September. Love the campus. Wife and I are considering coming up for the game if it's played at UAB, which I assume it is. Did ya'll get a new stadium or working on a stadium? I can't remember. I know you guys played at Legion Field right?

Didn't you guys start selling beer at you stadium this season? If so, didn't seem to help attendance, but probably did revenue.

Only a couple games late season once cold weather hits. I would say 4 $20 walk up or on line and 2 with a $5 discount. I have season tickets so I dont keep up closely with game day tickets. But I did see a article on the $5 discount. That's the cheapest ticket at Western

RE: Question about ticket prices
Ok. So $15 at Western. Same thing I think our cheap tickets should be, but instead we charge $25.

RE: Question about ticket prices
Ticket prices have continued to go up. In the neighborhood of $25-30.

Although I read that you could get into the CUSA Championship for $9 and the AAC Championship for $6 this year...so there's that.

I believe UTEP had a price of $10 for walk up tickets all season. We also had military day and teacher day, where people in either of those professions could get a free ticket. There was a cap at the number of free tickets UTEP would give out but I don't remember what it was.

RE: Question about ticket prices
I think the cheapest ticket at USM is $20 for upper deck seats ($30 for the Kentucky game) but these are from the 10 yard line to the back of the endzone. We do have what's called a "flex plan" where you can buy 8 ticket vouchers that can be used all for 1 game or they can be spread out... $150 upper deck ($18.75 a ticket) or $310 ($38.75 a ticket where regular they are $40) for lower level

$21 dollars are the cheapest seats at Tech. Children/Youth tickets are $16 on the east side. That's why it's important to have them kids in the children's club. You're looking at $74 for a husband and wife and two kids, not counting concessions. That's a lot of money to spend on a football game for many people in North Louisiana. The Northwestern St. and Mississippi St. tickets this year were more expensive than that.

Yes, but Bill Legg counters everything.

Question about ticket prices
UAB season tickets for football was $150 for this year also and I want to say we sold over 11,000, but I could be wrong. Pretty good money though compared to years past.

? Ucf sold out the stadium with 45k. Sidelines $55-75. Endzone $25-45.

Yeah, wouldn't make sense for AAC championship to charge $6 with the quality opponents playing in that game. If it had been Temple vs Tulsa in OK, different story.

Do students pay for regular season games at FAU? Does the home team get to set ticket prices? If not and CUSA does, then would UNT students pay $5 as well?

Just want to know so I'm prepared when USM hosts the CCG next season... relax WKU, that was a joke.
