Where is Tony Mitchell these days anyway. I remember when UNT fans assured us he was going to be a lottery pick, and then he finished like 3rd team All conference or something.

Love New Orleans so I'm very happy about that. Not really happy we're playing UNT. Never really liked them, and I'm afraid we're going to crush them. Was hoping for a tougher opponent. Not sure we'd beat Toledo, but I would have rather played them, or even Western Kentucky. North Texas has zero brand name recognition.

They can score points, but that plays right into our hands. Not many teams can do anything versus us. It took Arkansas State's vaunted offense 57 minutes to get past 13 points. UNT's defense is atrocious, so we should be able to move the ball at will.

Yeah. This is a mismatch. Probably a 42-21 type game.

AState vs UNT would have been first to 100 wins lol. I can't believe Nola didn't want that.

No, at 6-6 we're happy to be bowling at all. We'll face SMU in the Frisco Bowl on Dec 20. We'll be on in prime time on ESPN. We'll be the only bowl game on TV that night, so be sure to tune in. We're riding a three bowl game winning streak heading into this one, and I've got high hopes of making it four, though SMU is favored right now.
