Yes and we aren’t the ones on here crying that we would have definitely beaten you. The point is, we don’t know. You are 7-4. Would have been 7-5 if not for a Hurricane. You lost to a bad USA team and got your doors blown off by a pretty decent SMU team. We lost close games to two bad teams. Everybody in the Sun Belt has flaws.

I'm not ready to declare us better than UMass. That's a nonconference game.

One thing I've noticed about posters on this board is that fans of any school (school A) vastly overestimate the opinions of the other fan bases concerning said school A. If we don't win the conference I could care less who does. I may not be a very good conference mate....my apologies. I'm a Redwolves fan not a Sunbelt fan.

I'm saying that most fans of a particular school think the world revolves around that school. I certainly do and that won't change. Fans of the other schools may not share in my admiration, and they have the right to be wrong, lol.

It should be said that there are some who are far better conference mates than me. Hats off to them! I only have the time and energy to follow one school.

That being said, I used to always want to beat N TX and MTSU. Those days are gone. Now I want to win every conference game and stomp Memphis. Winning the bowl game is also better than losing it.

Please forgive my rambling....we barely lost a share of the conference championship both in Mobile and tonight in Jonesboro due to poor execution and I'm still reeling. I want to hit something if anybody wants to volunteer, lol.

For the record, there were times this year that we would have beaten App. There are times this year where App would have beaten us. I'm not sure where tonight falls. App doesn't have the defense Troy does, but is better offensively. Would have been a much different game.

It's kind of ditto for Troy. I think they would have beaten App tonight...but other nights? Not so much.

We played GSU better than they did (34-3 with a less than a minute left) and the last time ARKST and TROY played Louisiana we both smoked them too. Beating the piss out of the Cajuns doesn't mean you're world beaters - we've all done it. This is just like when GS clobbered USA and they thought they were back. We all saw that they are not. A couple games vs inferior opponents doesn't mean you'd stomp Troy and ARKST. Sorry GSU fans, I never thought you guys were a championship team, but for what it's worth, I think you guys are improved will be a lot better next year. Same for ULM.

Gonna give NMSU credit because they deserve it. they are 6-6 and will be bowling. They should be #5 in the conference.
