Troll abusive poster keeps getting banned and signing up under different accounts. Mainly because people call UL, ULL from what I can gather.....he gots the mental problems.

If the reason for banning someone is his ire over ULL and you're threatening him like this, that's pretty petty.

If it's something more drastic, that might be a different story.

It's your board and you can decide who is on it. But outing someone because they get mad over what they don't want to be called is pretty small.

I don't know any details, but know that it involved a lot more than just whining about a school name. I don't if many people know all the details, but you don't get banned multiple times and then threatened with having your job contacted over frustration about proper abbreviations and copyright names. I'm pretty sure it was over something more serious than an annoying troll.

I doubt the specifics can be posted, but maybe a little background would enlighten the masses.

Not going to lock the thread yet, but we will make a public statement, and as far as we're concerned the issue is done from there. GTS is the admin on the board and has final call over bannings. If you want to complain or congratulate him, you need to take that up with him.

LaCajunsFan has a history of harassing other posters and he was given multiple chances to stop before permanently banned from this board.

We don't usually go into this publicly but I will to show you this had nothing to do with his stance on the ULL name issue.

Activity:
1) Abuse of rep system multiple times, which sparked several thread fights and neg rep wars. Usually the same posters.
2) PMs fights that would get personal with targeted posters.
3) Consistent flaming within threads of targeted posters.
4) Purposefully derailing of threads where the same targeted users would post.

**While poster activity in other boards are not judged here.. his activity usually followed the same posters to other boards.. this does provide context. He has been banned elsewhere for similar activity**

He was given varying degrees of banning (CUSA forum ban, a few 1 week bans, 1 month ban, and a 1 year) before his actual perma-ban. Typically he was given a warning to stop before a ban was administered, but he has zero regard to the rules here.

During his 1 year ban and his perma-ban he created various accounts that would try to resume the same activities.
