Updated.
4-1 so far! App State gave VCU all they wanted, but unfortunately came out on the losing end. The 2nd Half killed them.

We gave it a good shot. Was down 46-45 at half after a buzzer-beating three by VCU. They hit their shots and App went cold. Still cautiously optimistic about the season.

I think this will be our best season in a decade but that doesn't mean a lot

We lost to Cleveland State. Cleveland State. Let that soak in.

TXST closes out Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 66-53.
6-2 night for the Sun Belt. I'm actually a bit disappointed though as I thought we could go 7-1. Coastal losing to Wofford at home is disappointing.

Really impressed with how well Troy is playing without Varnado right now. This team is looking phenomenal and showing a lot of chemistry.
We have got to beat UAB at home. They've had our number the last few meetings.
We finally have a good team though, so Troy needs to get that monkey off their back.
Probably will have a large crowd from both sides.

What happened to Ark St. this season? They seemed pretty solid last season.

When McCasland left for UNT one of our Freshman post players and top 3 signees all magically renigged with us and signed in Denton. Leading Scorer graduated to boot.
Balado scrambled and signed a bunch of guys in April that he threw together with our haphazard roster of zero post players and a bunch of Brady guys, and I think we were hopeful as a fan base that they would figure it out faster, but they haven't.
It's going to take 3-4 years of steady recruiting to fix our basketball program probably. I have faith he can figure it out, but our fan base is not known to be the patient sort.

Wow that sucks, hope it doesn't take that long to recover. NMSU sorta knows what that is like. We did luck out with Zach Lofton, last years SWAC POTY coming over.

We lost to them a few years ago. It's not a sign of the apocalypse.

I think we forget sometimes that last years team was more one of the better players we've had in recent memory hitting the top of his game and absolutely carrying the team. It's not talked about much, but we fell apart at the end of the year last year partially because the rest of the team began to struggle so much that he couldn't always put them on his back.
this year's team has a nice prospect in Cockfield, and a consistent Devin Simms back, but the pieces around them are just not producing, much like they were not for the last half of last season. We let Brady hang on 3 years too long and are paying for it in spades.
