Let me ask you this.

Could he have sustained those injuries by simply falling into the Culvert?

Just wait for the FBI to complete their report/investigation. From news reports both agents were beaten badly. And no the FBI does not unload their evidence to the public or relatives. They need to protect the evidence, keep it confidential as best as they can.

Then who is telling the family these seemingly conflicting reports?

You have never posted a link to back up your claim. It seems you are creating all of it out of thin air.

Sure, based on the limited descriptions I've been given. How did the other guy sustain them though? Fall in the same culvert?

What conflicting reports?

Again, I can't tell whom is telling the 'new stories' you're talking about...

but the causes of death and the events of the death are not the same thing.

If the FBI has with any authority told the family that they were beaten by illegals then beaten by each other then fell into a culvert, then I have some serious questions for the FBI. They need to shut up until they have some evidence or state ALL the possibilities, which of course could have happened as well... with various members of the family focusing on the many possibilities.

I have a feeling that the FBI and thus the families know a bit more than 'nothing' and that the numerous possibilities are being thrown out by people with agendas and not them. The family may be confused as to why someone beaten to death was ruled an accidental heart attack by the coroner (if that is what happened) but I think I explained it.

I think any examiner worth a damn would know pretty quickly if the deputies caused each other's injuries or if they were the result of falls vs hits.

It's pretty easy to tell when you know what you're looking at

Well I think it was the Gov. Abbott or a Senator or even the POTUS that said they were attacked.

Now they are saying it was an accident.

But others are saying the two agents may have fought each other and fallen into the culvert.

There isn't much evidence to determine what actually happened.

The injuries could have been caused any number of ways but the forensic evidence would be able to determine whether the injuries were caused by a fall or by assault.

I ask because we are talking about the death of one agent and you have a big plan to stop it.

But when it comes to mass shootings, you don't want to move a finger.

I find that ironic.

Mass shootings are not a threat to national security. An unsecured border is.

And I never said anything about changing one law. I have no problem with changing laws that do not work, especially when it doesn't involve the rights of American citizens.

I'm just trying to find consistency here.

The death of one Border agent is a matter of national security but the mass shooting of hundreds of innocent Americans is not?

How do you figure?

The death of the Border Patrol agent is a symptom, not the cause. The cause is a massive, unsecured border where uneducated, malnourished peasants who just left a mud hut from whatever third world shithole they came from can just waltz across as they please.

Once again you show how ignorant you truly are.

You have no idea how difficult it is to come to this country. Thousands of people have died attempting to make it to this country.

It is beyond belief that you have such little regard for what people go through just to try and have the kind of life we take for granted on a daily basis.

But how much is it going to cost us right?

they have died because they attempted to come to this country illegally... 07-coffee3

I'm sure that people comment based on the information they are given. They are not omniscient. Give them different information and their comments would likely change.

As Kap implies, there doesn't need to be much evidence.

Fall vs assault is actually pretty easy, as is assault by one vs assault by numerous

Just to give you an update from local news sources.

Although the FBI is still conducting an investigation with no leads, the local sheriff is now saying that they likely were side swiped by an 18 wheeler.

Quote:An FBI agent believes U.S. Border Patrol Agent Rogelio Martinez was murdered, according to a sworn affidavit filed in a federal court this week.

Martinez died Nov. 19, after suffering head injuries the night before while on duty in Texas.

Border Patrol Agent Stephen Garland was found injured alongside Martinez, in a culvert off Interstate 10, in Van Horn, Texas. He has been unable to recall what happened to them, authorities said.

In the affidavit, the FBI agent requests a search warrant for a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am that he believes “will contain trace evidence relating to drug trafficking, the murder of Agent Martinez and the assault of Agent Garland.”

Quote:In the affidavit, the FBI investigator said an informant told a Customs and Border Protection agent that two brothers who were recently smuggled into the United States spoke about assaulting the agents.

Further investigation found that those two brothers are Antonio and Jesus Munoz, authorities said. But upon questioning, both brothers denied any role in the attack on the agents, according to the affidavit.

However, Daniel Munoz admitted to picking up his brother Antonio in a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am in Presidio, Texas, around Nov. 20. Antonio Munoz told the FBI in an interview that he entered the United States illegally sometime before Nov. 20.

Quote:The search warrant was filed so investigators could thoroughly search the Pontiac used to pick up Munoz. The car could have evidence like clothing fibers and hair that could pertain to the investigation.

“When two individuals struggle, the physical components of their person can be exchanged, as well,” the agent wrote in the affidavit.

Gonzalez also told the FBI that when she was in the car with the Munoz brothers, she overheard Antonio speaking with someone on the phone about crossing into the U.S. with methamphetamine and heroin.

On Nov. 29, Antonio Munoz made an initial appearance before a magistrate judge on charges that he made illegal re-entry into the United States.

2 illegal alien suspects, no surprise there.

A dim sheriff of a totally dim county (no Republicans ran for countywide office in 2016) with a track record of opposing CBP and ICE.

When the libturds are trying to spin this accident every way they can to blame anyone, including the officers themselves, instead of illegal aliens, it will be due to illegal aliens.

One poster here tried to suggest that the officers got into a fight. I have seen clownish posts but that might have been the worse ever.

That was an actual theory from last week.

What you think I make up this brilliant **** all by myself?

You give me way too much credit.
