Right. And we both equally sucked at it that night and haven't since. The OP was trying to suggest that their moral loss compared to how Troy played them was somehow indicative of a better team.
I think we're in agreement here.

Neither team played a defense last week, so both should be healthy. The scheduling committee got this one right leading up to the game this year.

We're at 100% to my knowledge with the exception of one guy who I don't have an update on. We'll know soon.

Two teams left that haven't given up more than 24 puts it in a game this season. Those being Wisconsin and Troy. This pits the highest scoring offense in the Sun Belt vs the defense that gives up the least scoring-wise. I'm pumped to see how this one turns out.
Both teams have had their collective struggles on special teams ( our punter is kicking FGs since our kicker had a bout of stage fright to begin the season ) so coverage teams could be the keys to success in this one...

The higher scoring the game gets, the bigger advantage to AState. The lower scoring the game gets the bigger advantage to Troy.
Picking a low score based on Troy's specific ability to hold teams to less than an arbitrary score (24 points) is foolish, as is picking a high score based on AState's ability to put up an arbitrary score on offense.
To be honest, that was not my doing. It has been a "stat" that was out there weeks ago when about 5 teams in the country were included. the bammers and Notre Dame just feel off recently. Could possibly have been the Athletic dept...but, don't quote me on that...
Right, but the point is the stat is a number with an arbitrary end point. It looks cool, but its completely arbitrary.

We're healthy offensively. Defense...not so much.

This could turn into quite the slug fest. Without a doubt the best match-up of the year for Sun Belt football!

What's the over/under on Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalites for this game? I know we are good for at least 2-3 no matter who we're playing.
If any Troy team circa 2006-10 and one of Astate's teams under Anderson were able to meet there, we may have set records for UC penalties in a game...

Henderson will learn to control his emotions.
Lucky is young, raw, and dangerous if you’re playing against him.

What's the status on Henderson for the game? Heard he was in a boot.

RE: Troy vs stAte discussion thread
Question to ARKST fans: How much do you guys RPO compared to ULM and or some true dual threat QBs? Is Hansen a true dual threat guy (runs a lot, often unscripted), a scrambler (runs a bit, mostly to avoid pressure and finds an opening for a big gain), or a pocket passer with decent mobility (elusive in the pocket)?

We do very little rpo compared to Monroe. Hansen’s strength is making something out of nothing. Pocket passer who gets a lot of big runs because teams have to put so much attention on our receivers. Some read option as well

IMO, I feel like we RPO the hell out of you.
Hansen can move north and south really fast. He's definitely not a Russell Wilson type though. He's a big guy so it looks like he's running real slow, but when he gets going he could probably out run Chunn. Im serious.

The GS Play was not a run pass option. It was pass and Hansen chose to run for his life when no one came open and the pocket collapsed.
That's not a true RPO... What ULM ran was a true RPO. Most plays the QB could hand the ball off, keep it, or pass it. It's sort of a hybrid of the triple option.

I wasnt staying that it was an RPO. Just showing an example of Hansen scrambling. I shouldve been more clear.
