I was just checking real time RPI ( I know, way too early for these to be accurate) tonight, and I was amazed to see Toledo men ranked #8 and Toledo women ranked #18. That is a heck of a start for Toledo basketball. UT's women had an impressive thumping of 4-0 Dayton the other night.

As a league, the MAC women are #9, while the MAC men may be as bad as we all feared at #21.

Men were ranked number 2 after Oakland. Early or not I'm tellin' everyone we were ranked second in the nation and then I ain't say in' another word.

If they can't come back against Cornell they may drop 100 spots. I still think they are the best team in the MAC right now

Not even close (and I’m a Rocket fan). They could/should get better when Willie Jackson becomes eligible in December.

They may be at some point and the MAC likely is, but the “good” teams we beat are looking less good than advertised, especially Oakland which looks very good on paper but much less so on wood.
