If Astate wins Saturday. Then Astate/Troy is on tv. Otherwise app gets the game if they win.

I do. Love night games and cold games. Would hope for snow. Long range is only 20% chance of moisture and down the 29 that night.

The difference between 2 and 7:30 is 5.5 hours of more tailgating

Side note, I'm not sure that ESPN actually has a 6 day window with the conference TV deal. I know they have a deal with the SEC where they could do it once a season, but I highly doubt they would ever have anticipated needing to do it with the SBC.

My guess is they didn't expect a 4 way tie for 1st with two weeks left, and with all 4 teams playing this week, needed to wait as long as possible to see which game would determine a champ. I think they sort of made something up here and got Benson to go along with it.

If AState and Troy both win, I don't see any way on earth that game isn't selected, but you can never be sure with Troy, and AState isn't exactly playing its best football right now.

Doing a turnaround trip with the wife from ATL for the game. We will still be there but I'll lose a lot of points with the wife if it's a night game, primarily for travel reasons.

Is that not a huge issue for us as a fan base? Maybe all of us Sunbelt schools have this similar problem. And maybe it's a product of small time football trying to be big. But as App fans, if we want to brag to the ECUs, WFs, Marshals, ACC Schools, SEC Schools, and what not that we should be respected as a FBS program, I would fully expect us to show up in full force for a nationally televised night game that could determine another conference championship. Or is this asking too much???

Really too far out to be reliable but forecast is for a low of 31 and rain.

Depends on the school and location. Georgia State would probably prefer a night game because otherwise they are competing with the SEC Title game. Other school might prefer a Noon type kick to get the game over with before the big games start.

I think most, if not all our fans would prefer a 2pm kick, but we'd rather win this weekend and ensure the 6:30 start.

UG-East is gonna get a taste of reality when they realize USA laid down for them. Cajuns won't be so kind.
