I just don’t see how y’all could want to keep your coach after getting shutout by a winless team. If he isn’t let go, I’d take that as a clear message from your AD that the commitment to football just isn’t there

And we get shut out by a winless team for our first shutout in our history. 03-banghead

Hopefully we don't hire him. Absolutely can't stand pro-style offenses, and I think much of our fan base can't, either.

If he interviewed and was interested in the job at Georgia Southern I cannot see him not being interested in the USA job since he is from Mobile.

He could be your guy.

In fact, we at GS will pay some of his salary for you if you hire him.

Tyson Summers would be a good get. Y’all would always “win the first half” and you best believe when your team “turns the corner, it’s gonna be big.” Afterall, he’s a “great guy with a beautiful family who will put his heart into the team.”

RE: 2017 USA Coaching Search Master Thread
On WNSP 105.5 today, Joel Erdmann said they are hiring a search firm for Coach Jones' replacement and that they would be sharing South's "short list" (they've had one for two years, btw - and nope, I don't know a single name on that list) with that firm but would also be interested in the firm's prospects and feedback on USA's prospects before making a final decision. He wants the new HC hired ASAP but also is willing to carefully wait for the right fit. He was also very respectful and positive in every comment on Coach Jones and what he has accomplished for us, as he should damned well SHOULD be.

Also frightening. Though good DC's often don't make good head coaches.

I first started noticing Hatcher 5-6 weeks ago. I'd be ok with any of the names on the list from the article.
