They might be, but on what do you base this opinion? They have a new coach and mostly a new team. This isn’t the Dayton team of years’ past. They are talented, but they are young.

ODU-Dayton is delayed because Indiana State and Ohio refuse to win their game — it's in the fourth OT.

UTEP losing to App State stings, they are SBC and should be easy wins especially middle of the pack. UTEP needs to think long and hard about getting rid of Floyd unless he rights the ship from here out.

Sun Belt finished like 10 spots ahead of CUSA last year in RPI. Losing to App in basketball is bad, but not because we're SBC.

Watching ODU on ESPN3 right now, looking really good against Dayton up 13 points at the moment

UTEP likes to do this thing where they lose every OOC game then run the table in conference play and grab a top 4 seed

Fair question. Why does most of C-USA play a garbage basketball schedule? I mean, really bad. Please explain.

Wait, to be clear our schedule isn't great this year. But we aren't playing D3 teams either.

How about we not do that at all and enjoy our win? We haven't had room to say much. Until we beat middle Tennessee and can win a regular season or conference championship we shouldn't question anyone else. Hell even middle doesn't do that.

Yeah, I mean we are only playing three good teams OOC, and two of them were due to this tournament. Temple, Dayton, and VCU. And of course we can't forget the Gods Themselves of Towson.

So our schedule isn't very good either.

Some teams do exhibitions (like us), some schools do D2/D3 for tune-up games. Pad the stats, I guess? If the stats counted that would be nuts.

Maybe it's becoming increasingly difficult to schedule P5 teams outside the early tournaments.
