clt says we were once an athletic program on the rise. Our school is growing academically, and is a major research university in the southeast. We will hit 30,000 students next year with the most selective class in our history. Next year will be more selective.

Our sports are just bad. There is no excuse.

you should be very proud of your school....now is a tough time to start a new Div I program (not to mention prop up an old one..)

Hey! Rice's football program sucks, but once you go to work in the REAL world (football is not the REAL world), they are your azzzhole bosses!

FAU sucked for years. There have been posters on this board who wanted FAU out of the conference...last year. Your time will come.

That's not what he's saying. He's saying that we are pulling our weight. Who knows what happens in 2018. But, in 2017, our time came.
