10-3 Tulane winning with houston looking like a division II school.

A more realistic assessment is that King is not playing well, he's not making the smart reads on hand offs or short throws, and isn't keeping the drives alive.

The plays calls are fine, we're not executing. May be the bye week, but we're in this game as long as the defense steps up.

It seems like this whole team has played poorly since applewhite took over.

You're starting to catch on... it's called a dropoff in talent. It happens.

This should be obvious, but well... I guess some folks need it spelled out.

It's coaching at Houston. They aren't this bad based on talent. The scheme on defense doesn't put a spy on Banks - which is just awful.

Dude, you said that about every game UH has played. Every one of them, and were wrong 6 out of 9 times. Your stats aren't that great either. 04-cheers

So you think applewhite is a good coach?

Sent from my toilet using FartTalk

He's fine as the coach.

For some reason you think the Coogs should be steamrolling everyone this year by miles and it's CMA holding them back.

That's just silly.

Well to be fair we have only played one good team this year and that was Memphis. So yes we really should only have one loss yet we lose to tulsa and a bad tech team.

What drop off in talent?? We gained talent this year. Yet we are playing worse than last year and that means it’s coaching.

We have talent. That's not in question but these guys aren't playing the football that they are capable of

You mention Tulsa and totallyl ignore the glaringly obvious reason. Turnovers. Postma and Allen were turnover machines.

And now defenses are getting substantial video on King. He's being tested today. I dunno if you know what the QB position requires, but there is some pretty important decision making going on out there, and he's not making the smartest decisions today.

Too much time was run off at the end of the 2nd. Drive stalls late.

13-3 Tulane at the half.

Oook and what does that have to do with bad play calling by the coach? Have you stopped to consider that maybe those turnovers were in prt caused by bad play calling? Applewhite has been here 3 years and every coog was saying even before he became a coach that his play calling was not good.

Westhoff as the commissioner of this thread I do hereby call for an end for all discussions regarding firing of the head coach to end until the final play of the game.

Another turnover. King throws into Nickerson (who is going to be in the NFL) + a safety. That route was NEVER open.
