I don't think he or Cronin are going to share that with Iowa or the other teams in the Cayman Islands as those coaches game plan for a highly ranked opponent. I also think we're kidding ourselves if we don't expect a close, competitive game from Iowa.

If this Iowa team would give us a close, competitive game, then our team is not nearly as good as I think.

Ask the current NBA version of Isaiah Thomas if he believes that. I wouldn't play around with any soft tissue injuries near the hip...with the significance of that muscle and ligament structure you take as long as you need to get back to 100 before overexertion.

I really hope we don't end up playing Iowa! Just lost 80-71 to the Ragin Cajuns. 03-lmfao

Just looked in for a few minutes and Iowa looked terrible. Guess I've been hanging around too many B10 sycophants of late! UC beating them for the championship might have looked better but I never mind a B10 team going down in flames. Now let's have the 'Cats go out and win this tournament this week.

So buffalo will the best team we play before the rough 4 game stretch. Id prefer to see some tougher defenses so the new guys are ready.

Maybe Buffalo will be. I think a couple of Lafayette, UAB, Wyoming and South Dakota State are likely to be better than Buffalo. Not sure who UC will play out of that group.

UC is going to get 3 games against teams likely to finish somewhere between 50-150 in the RPI... (hopefully on the higher end of that). These are going to be real tests that should help them come march with seeding, but that they should win relatively easily given their talent.

ULL just shot 49% en route to beating Iowa today. I have faith that UC's size and speed will make it a lot harder on these schools we will play, but they can shoot and have the ability to make things uncomfortable for UC. They also will all be looking to be a team to cause a big early season upset.

It's only about 50/50 whether ULL makes the finals where they could play UC. I guess we could both lose and play in the runner up game too.

UAB has looked pretty good. They move the ball well, they rebound well and they play stout defense.
Buffalo looks okay, ULL looks a lot like some earlier Cronin teams, I'm not sure about Wyoming and South Dakota State...
I think after Buffalo, we'll probably end up playing UAB and then the Ragin' Cajuns.
