A Dude who went to old miss, told me in south Carolina, that he thinks Norvell is gonna stay in Memphis, but if he should leave Hugo Freeze is gonna Coach Memphis and bring the q.b. with him

Norvell's recruiting for next season right now ... would you say it's more indicative of a coach who is even considering being here again or a coach who is almost certainly seeing himself gone ? By comparison of his previous years @ Memphis.

I would be shocked if Norvell took Old Miss. If that is his best offer, he stays at Memphis and waits for a winning situation to come along next year (eg Fuente).

I also heard that it was part of the deal for him to stay for Luke to be hired. I have no idea how accurate that is though.

don't know if he'll be eligible to transfer. only one additional year of bowl ban. that may mean that only the seniors can go

I just read something saying they won’t allow Patterson or anyone not a Senior to transfer...

I think that the only players that are able to transfer and play immediately are incoming seniors since the bowl ban is only for one additional year. Patterson is a sophomore so he would have to sit out a year.
