Really? You say this with such conviction, do You know this as fact? Did you read this on a message board? Hear it from a friend of a friend? Hear it on media outlets? Hear it from Norvell himself? or is this just a gut feeling you have with no confirmation that he will or won't be here? Really curious to know which one it is.

It this ends up happening... I can only imagine what my Ole Miss friends reactions will be!!!! lol

Make the rumor believable. A rumor can be shocking, but it should not seem ridiculous. People might believe that you were attacked by a bear and survived. Most people probably won't believed you were attacked by a talking panda with a samurai sword. If your rumor is going to survive, make it plausible.

Also, don't get your hopes up that Norvell is staying. It'll just set you up to be all emotional when the breakup occurs. We don't want to be that crazy side chick that calls 50 times in the middle of the night drunk asking what we can do to stay together. Its just going to be embarrassing.

The bigger picture in all this is IF Norvell stays, there is a really good chance that he will be able to pillage Ole Piss' class and also a few other classes when there are coaching changes.

I would have agreed with everything you stated above before now. Now however, I think anything is possible. Especially after recently seeing that some of the most influential boosters at Arkansas seem to want a bigger splash hire, like Gus Malzahn? If Arkansas is his dream job, or wherever it is he would prefer to go doesn't get offered, who knows? If we can somehow win out and go to the Peach Bowl, I think this job becomes more and more appealing to any football coach. He would certainly get a raise and not have to deal with the pressure and unrealistic expectations that are at other P5 schools. There may be hope yet.

I have a feeling he might stick around another year, as well. I just don't look at him and see SEC.

Would love to see Ole Miss try to enforce terms when the coach who personally recruited Patterson, and assured him the NCAA investigation would amount to nothing, was fired for hiring prostitutes. Would be great theater.

If Ole Miss receives a 2 year bowl ban players can transfer without restrictions or having to sit out

If the NCAA hands them a 2 year bowl ban then their players are free to transfer wherever they want, ole miss cannot block anything

All a kid has to do is get Jay Bilas on the case. That guy is the NCAA's biggest enemy. Probably fifteen times a year he calls out a school for putting these restrictions in place. They do the dance for a week and then the school backs off. Only time I've seen it not work is when it's an inter-conference transfer.

Just google the rule on players transferring from programs put on probation instead of speculating.
