King had 32 points and 11 rebounds in a victory over FGCU.

Crawford played 39 minutes and had 13 points (2-3 from 3) and 4 rebounds in defeat to VA Tech.

13 points while playing 39 minutes is not good.

He was efficient by shooting 5-10 from the field (although he made only 1-3 FT’s). Furthermore, playing nearly the entire game indicates his value - likely on defense because we know that is his strength.

Crawford would have helped us win games this year. Tubby apparently refused to woo Crawford so Crawford decided to play in Oxford rather than his hometown. Tubby failed and it is one factor among many causing are a blowout to UAB and squeaking by undermanned Mercer at home.

Markel and Nick would have helped a lot. But its nothing more than a mere bandaid at this point.

Again 13 points in 39 minutes is not good...Along with 3 FTs and 0 assists indicates he is deferring like he did late last year waiting for perfect shots and others to set him up.

He needs to be more aggressive.

Would Crawford be better than what we have now...without a doubt...but lets not act like he is setting the world on fire.

I think we agree because the bolded express my intended point.

Trust me, the topic has little to do with current OR former Tigers. It's about Ain't No Sunshine When He's Gone.

? You honestly believe people are upset about Tubby because he’s not Josh of all people?

As previously stated but bears repeating, the thread’s topic pertains to evaluation of Tubby’s job performance (namely his failure to bring in adequate talent). Furthermore, Nick is former Tiger who helped win games for us in the past regardless of the circumstances of his transfer occurring under the previous coach.

Nick had a nose for the ball.

Yeah, I really liked watching him play. He seemed to "get it" on how to play the game.

I didn't know he was at MTSU. I remember the thread from this summer, I think, about "should we take him back".

Imagine if men's basketball had rules that allowed you to keep players on the same roster for more than 2 years
