And what point do stop having to hear this? That was damn near 20 years ago lol
When you guys stop saying stupid #@$% about Toledo just to make yourselves feel better. I don't understand the animosity toward UT at all from NIU. Have any of you guys ever had a bad experience at one of our games or with any of our alums?
I can understand it's annoying hearing that Toledo has won the MACC since Year X, though until NIU's recent success we had to hear from a lot of Toledo fans about the overall record between Toledo and NIU.
I don't think we were ever quite Kent State. We had a few very bad years when Novak came in, but other than that we weren't that bad.
do note than after Novak's first two years of cleaning House , NIU was successful...there were many years after Mallory left and Corso arrived that NIU sucked in 80's and 90's where we were most always listed as among the bottom 10 of D! football

Not exactly the same. NIU 's last win vs the Rockets was 2015. The Huskies had already lost @CMU. Toledo had to beat WMU to make it to the MACC. This year a Huskie loss or a Rocket win seals the deal.

We beat WMU with a QB only throwing for 64 yards and a special teams that gave them 14 points and a RB fumbling that gave them excellent field position and another easy 7 points. I'm sure Toledo will torch them.

Most people thought Toledo would beat Ohio and the Bobkitties unzip Akron. You never know, that's why we play the games.

I hope WMU watches that Ohio game tape and gashes Turd on the ground like Ohio did. I think the game will be very competitive. There are no world beaters in the MAC.

If you look at the record and who we played we were probably better than Kent State many of those years
