You do realize that Marshall is 1-10 all time in the state of Texas, don't you?

That is a very real issue, I know since UTSA is 1-6 all time on the east coast. However, UTSA's offense is atrociously bad. There is only (1) player making things happen. I take your 1-10 all time Texas record and raise you losing all four games by 7 or less. UTSA cannot close. Eventually the defense will get tired enough to allow a go ahead score.

Well, I suppose we'll see. I picked us to win, but I'd be shocked if we actually do. All your DC needs to do is to study the 1987 Tecmo Bowl playbook and then on 3rd down play cover three.

LMAO....the only redeeming quality here for UTSA is that their defense is very, very good. I believe Litton is a statue in the pocket, correct? That may be a + for UTSA.

All Marshall's DC needs to do is blitz Sturm...like every down. UTSA has no idea on how to pick up the blitz nor can a WR get any separation. You can telegraph it as well. They will look at the guy creeping to the line of scrimmage and just ignore him. You are guaranteed 3-4 sacks. Sturm might pull a Houdini and escape every once in a while.

My niece is cheering at the game, so I am going to make my first trip to the Alamodome for college football (seen many HS school games there). My family will all be rooting for UTSA, including my traitorous wife, but I will be wearing North Texas gear and cheering for Marshall.

Younger group. I think at halftime. UTSA gave the families a great deal to come watch. Gotta hand it to the school, it is a great way to sell tickets on those odd weekends where a lot of students go home for the holiday.
