Sorry, but that’s 2nd grade level stuff............as usual.

Yes, but he got everyone involved which is all it takes

Yep, the fact that he's gotten semi serious responses means it worked. Truly bad trolling either gets ignored or nothing but sarcastic responses back. Quo wins.

I don't think anyone would remember that loss at all if UCF did win the NY6 bowl.

I know we lost quite a bit after 2013, but we certainly didn't start ranked 2014 despite the strong finish with an exclamation point against Baylor.
Do I expect attrition every year despite our record and finish, absolutely, life in the G5. However, its harder to justify unranking preseason if you return pretty much everyone and finish top 10 vs simply finishing just inside top 25.
Make no mistake, as wacky as the rankings are, a loss to Temple can and will drop us below Memphis, to just inside the top 25. It will be a lot harder to move up from there with only 2 games plus a bowl to go.
Obviously with the assumption that we win the CCG and NY6.

If you lose to Temple but then win out, you are going to (a) beat a USF team in the AP/Coaches top 25** and maybe in the CFP top 25, then (b) beat a Memphis team in the AAC title game that is in the CFP top 25, and then © win an NY6 bowl game against a big-name, CFP top 12 Power 5 team?

That will have you in the final AP/Coaches top 10, or damn close to it, and all the momentum in the world going in to next year. The Temple loss won't even be a blip on the radar at that point.

** assuming we don't crap the bad vs Tulsa

I think UCF is more than capable of winning every game remaining. I would expect us to be more than a touchdown favorites in every game remaining as well.

The game is meaningless for UCF, winning it doesn't help them achieve any goals, losing doesn't hurt, either way UCF controls its destiny in terms of winning the AAC and making an NY6 bowl.

Plus, a cold-weather game means higher chances for injuries, and this game will be Temple's "super bowl" so they will be riled up and hitting hard. Right now the Temple coach is probably telling his guys "win or lose, lets make sure we kick their arse all game".

So UCF should be sending a skeleton crew up to Philly this weekend. For that reason, I hope they don't take my advice. 07-coffee3

Your statement is ridiculous. Of course it matters. First it matters to the players to go undefeated. Second, it matters to the fans for their team to go undefeated. Third, they want the highest end of the year ranking as possible. Fourth, they have enough talent to win without resting players or tanking. 01-wingedeagle

RE: UCF should tank vs Temple
this was quo's way of saying UCF has zero shot at the playoffs.....which is correct

No G4 team will ever make the playoffs....ever. It's a carrot out on a stick

The playoffs are not for G5 and never have been.
