MyBB Beverly granted waiver
Braxton Beverly graduated early and wanted to go to Ohio State. OSU gave Thad Matta a "vote of confidence," so he enrolled in summer school. When Matta was fired, Beverly went to NC State. The NCAA ruled that he was a "transfer" and had to sit out a year. He never went to a single practice or played in a game. He just took a couple of summer school classes.

3 appeals and a very expensive lawyer later, the NCAA agreed and granted him a waiver to play this year.

Yeah, but it doesn't count when it's from the "Whine and Cheese" schools...

No, it doesn't count when the governing bodies over academics say so. Last time I checked, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools' Commission on Colleges ruled. Sucks to be butt hurt.

Wasn't talking about the SACS... was talking about whining vs. valid complaints

For a team picked to finish 12th in the ACC, the Pack is going to be one tough out this year.

Guys, can't we focus on more important things like getting Butch his wins back??? UNC needs them after this year's Infirmary Ward Heels team.

The Arizona game just put a big exclamation point on that statement. And Beverly led the way with 20 points. Don't sleep on the Pack this year. They are playing with all the intensity Gottfried was unable to get from them last year. What a difference.

The problem is that after beating Arizona people that were picking the pack to be bad this year are now doing a 180 and over estimating what kind of team they are going to be. Then when we lose a close one to UNI the next day they go the additional 180 and say things like, "NC State doing what NC State does." It is a can't win situation. Oh and then they will say that the pack fan base is ..........well you get the idea.
