I hate to say it but I do like the uniforms that UCF has been using since O'Leary left...before they were some of the worst.

Cinci's all black unis are one of my favorites.

And Navy always looks sharp

Expanding past 3 would be Houston next

For those who don't know the insignia significance...every cadet has a rank/insignia for their academic standing (below) and wore it on their jersey's "shoulder board". For the above, the ranks are basically freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, graduate/ensign in civilian speak.

And JUST in case you were still wondering - why three stripes and a star (MIDN LT) instead of just the senior year MIDN First Class?

Rank comes with the position of Varsity Team Captain - Team Captains are three-stripers like one of the thirty Company Commanders and others. The rank insignia is what really put this one over the top for me.

(I actually prefer the helmet from Nike's attempt at Summer Whites a couple years prior. )
