Games tonight are:
CSU Bakersfield vs Georgia Southern
Abilene Christian vs Arkansas St.
Mobile vs South Alabama
Hawaii vs Troy

Right now ESPN favors Georgia Southern over CSUB. CSUB will probably win though. They were the WAC regular season champs and went the NIT semi finals. Should be close though.

Don't know enough about the other teams to comment.

Not setting myself up for any fall. I plan on saying we suck until we don't.

If Georgia Southern beats Cal State Bakersfield, then they will have an early start to putting together a good resume for the postseason.

Ark State and Troy really need to win tonight.

CSUB coach used to coach at Georgia State and he made comments about the city of Statesboro that have the fan base riled up. Hoping for a good opener inside Hanner. Won’t be a packed game but should be a decent crowd.

Game will be on True Blue TV (free on the gseagles website) at 7:30 ET

What did he say?

That we’re in the middle of nowhere and saying the only reason we were put on their schedule is to fill a Home spot and basically gave the overall impression that coming to Statesboro to play Georgia Southern was beneath him and his team.

idk about Southern being beneath them. Both are mid-major teams.

Hard to travel? well yeah. cross country trip (guessing layovers somewhere), then few hours on the bus.

Here is an article explaining the situation between GaSo and CSUB: http://www.bakersfield.com/sports/why-is...64f79.html

Now 15-6. I was not expecting CSUB to be playing this passive. This GaSo team should definitely break 20 wins this season.

GS looking dominant so far. I hope we can keep the momentum up. Great crowd for a monday night and the new court looks gorgeous on True Blue Tv which is a surprisingly high quality stream.

If CSUB plays like this all year, then NMSU won't have to fear them in the WAC. What is is the capacity of the new court?

It's still Hanner, just a new floor.
