Game will be on True Blue TV (free on the gseagles website) at 7:30 ET

What did he say?

That we’re in the middle of nowhere and saying the only reason we were put on their schedule is to fill a Home spot and basically gave the overall impression that coming to Statesboro to play Georgia Southern was beneath him and his team.

I really didn't take offense to anything he said. Getting from CSUB to Statesboro is not a fun trip and I'm sure we were waaaay down on the list of teams he wanted to fill in for that gap in their schedule.

With how well GaSo is playing I would love to have a home and home scheduled with them. It would be interesting to see how well NMSU would match up against the Sun Belt in basketball

I believe they only returned 1 starter from last year. Probably not really the same team.

A real test coming up against Missouri State (favorite to win the MVC) in Florida coming up.

Good luck eagles! Glad to see a good basketball team from our neighbors to the south. I'll root for GS except against us

RE: Sun Belt Basketball
AState got our leading returning scorer in Devin Simms back from injury tonight, and looked much better as a result. He scored 22 points to lead the team.

Off to Eastern Michigan Thursday. Don't ask me why we're playing a non return game that far away, but it's part of some preseason "tournament" that is also sending us to Indiana and South Florida, and providing us only Howard at home. Basketball is weird

I'll update the rest of the week's games in a few hours once Troy is done dispatching Hawaii.

I don't count games against non-D1 teams unless its a loss.

st. mary's won by 18. odd that a top 25 program would have a crowd of only 2800.

Their total enrollment is like 4500 people.

I know but you'd think a ranked program would attract more of a following. I think they have a 5000 or so arena..
