Not sure, I don't follow soccer that closely. Mercer was the 4 seed but ended up winning their conference tournament and are are 7-8-6. I'm assuming we are favored but Mercer is typically a good soccer club and is playing good right now.

I’d say pretty good. We’ve hosted & won a first round NCAA match every year since 2011. We’ve won 2 rounds twice, bowing out to ranked ACC teams both times in the Sweet 16. Would be nice to beat Clemson this year and try our Sweet 16 luck vs the PAC12 and Stanford.

As Rok said, I don’t think Mercer is anything great, but they seem to have a knack for solid defense, shutout & PK type games. Anything can happen there.

Should be a good chance, we usually win our first round Home Game. When we go on the road, it usually doesn't end well. This team did knock off the #2 team in the country on the road this year. So I would love a deep playoff run, or just beating Clemson in Clemson

Why is that important? The Big Ten has affilaliate members in men's and women's lacorsse as well as men's hockey. The Pac-12 has numerous affiliates in their Olympic sports. Meanwhile, App State is an affiliate for field hockey in the MAC and for wrestling in the SoCon. What is the big deal if the Sun Belt has affiliate members in one single sport?
