Don't kowtow either...that will be seen as a sign of weakness. There is a pecking order there and the low level gov officials are pretty bad, imo

If you have to, get solidarity from the Americans and Canadians that play in China. Chinese love their BB. Threaten removal of the North American pipeline.

I don't think these guys are going to get tortured. I'm sure they will be released pretty soon and it will all be a big joke when they get back home. Maybe LaVar can give the authorities a lifetime supply of Big Baller Brand shoes to speed up their release.
