Ask the family of Otto Warmbier

I believe Otto took down a political poster in North Korea. What does that have to do with 3 morons shoplifting sunglasses in China?

getting tortured in a communist dictatorship

I don't think these guys are going to get tortured. I'm sure they will be released pretty soon and it will all be a big joke when they get back home. Maybe LaVar can give the authorities a lifetime supply of Big Baller Brand shoes to speed up their release.

welp it kind of depends on the person in charge if they ever went to prison. It's not like anyone sees what happens in there. But I think it's around 80K that are missing.

I would never defend China's record on human rights. It is abysmal. I just don't think much will happen to these guys because of their notoriety and the negative attention it would bring to the regime there.

I hope you're right. But predicting how China will react is like reading the minds of Klingons. Nothing will surprise me here.

Bottom line. Just get them out of there.

Gotta be proactive to get them out. PAC12 is already promising to play another BB game there, because they better promise that. It's leverage.

We are talking about a regime that does a good job of censoring the internet, this includes every message, every news article going in or coming out.

They are back in the USA. Trump intervened and denied 3 young Americans their right to a trial in China. (That's how some will see it, anyway!)

Relieved for the young men and their parents.

Good time in history for the president(regardless of politics) to be golfing buddies with the president of China.

Thankfully they are out. They should kiss the ground when they get home.

No kidding. whew. ON all counts. That Chinese dude doesn't like golf, tho. He closed down a bunch of courses.

Relieved they are back. Kiss the ground every two feet, they should.

Now we can cane them for total idiocy. No doubt in my mind they stole glasses.

Donald J. Trump‏Verified account @realDonaldTrump

Now that the three basketball players are out of China and saved from years in jail, LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo, is unaccepting of what I did for his son and that shoplifting is no big deal. I should have left them in jail!

We've been there before...Is 8 enough. lol

The indefinite suspension of three players has left UCLA’s basketball team facing another open-ended concern: Is eight enough?

That’s the number of players the Bruins have used in each of their first two games, shaky victories over Georgia Tech and Central Arkansas.

Four Bruins logged at least 32 minutes Wednesday night during a 106-101 overtime triumph against Central Arkansas. Center Thomas Welsh tallied 38 minutes and point guard Aaron Holiday played 43.

The dad is a complete tool. Clearly. No that most didn't know that already.

There are so many ridiculous, asinine, embarrassing, mean, stupid, misogynistic, unpatriotic, unethical and criminal things that the game show host who suckered many has done, that no need to bash him for doing essentially what all presidents do.

At least there is one.

Low low bar.

That being said, I think Trump actually did help get those kids outta China.

And for this good deed, you'd think a father would be grateful enough to ignore Trump's horn tooting. Let him toot his tweets..
. Your kids are home safe. This trumps all.

Which begs the question, why is POTUS tweeting this loser?
