Any idea what was the career ender. I know he was recovering from hernia surgery

RE: Nudo
Not sure anything was a career ender. If you think about it, it seems he got buried behind others on the roster for playing time as well.

RE: Nudo
Apparently this summer/preseason it was a running joke with the basketball team if Kenzo would show up to practice. It just sucks that we lost out on Zamora because of this.

RE: Nudo
I have no inside knowledge, but I can't say Nudo's body language or demeanor ever struck me as an "all-in/team first" guy. Not during warm ups. Not at GCU Team Camps in the summer. Not even in his limited floor time last season.

Can't help but see Nate Renfro seemingly doing pretty well at San Francisco and think to myself that we kept the wrong AZ Power kid from that recruiting class. I'm sure there were other reasons for releasing Renfro from his LOI, but still...

RE: Nudo
We never saw too awfully much of Nudo over the last season or so. That being said, GCU has lost a lot of guards and they've always recovered. Lowery, Daly, Davis, Magee, etc. Hopefully Milstead can come in and acclimate quickly. Shaq Carr may have a distinct roll this year as a senior... looked more like a penetration guy than a floor general. Could prove to be a spark when the outside shots aren't falling. I'm just excited about the new guys down in the post... both looked pretty great.

RE: Nudo
Nudo was a little conceited punk that probably thought Majerle was in love with him but Majerle requires his players to work their asses off and Nudo looked like a primadonna. I saw Zamora play in a scrimmage and that kid is for real. He would have done some real damage for GCU. He's better than Benson any time of the year.
