Miami beat IUPUI in overtime after an incredibly stupid play by IUPUI at the end of regulation. Miami had the ball in the closing seconds down by four. As Dickerson launched a three-point attempt with just over a second to play, an IUPUI player thought it would be a good idea to try to block the shot. Dickerson made the shot, the ref called a foul, Dickerson made the free throw, and Miami won in overtime.

Abshaw, Cleveland State's all world guard, who is averaging 23 points per game left the Ohio game with 6 minutes remaining. She suffered a knee injury in a collision with an Ohio player. She was carried off but limped back to the entrance from the stands to watch the final minute. Will she play against UT on Saturday? Will dramatically impact the outcome of this game.

Crazy year in women's basketball. Ohio beats perennial powerhouse, Purdue, but lost to Cleveland State, who the Rockets just beat handily. Don't know what to think about all this.

7 MAC schools are in the top 100 in RPI right now. Rockets RPI is 30, only trailing Buffalo which is at 16.

9 of 12 MAC schools have winning records. Akron is 4-4. WMU is 4-5, but 4 of their losses are to teams with RPIs in the top 25. Only EMU at 1-7 is not playing well at this time. Seems like the MAC is wide open where maybe any team can win on any given night. Rockets are gonna have to step up their game when MAC play starts.
