I regret stopping work to watch the second half and end of the second quarter. The last two weekends spent earning paychecks were infinitely more rewarding than watching GT football. I think I'll cash my chips out on this season this afternoon. Bigger wallet. Lower blood pressure. Better mood. Let's see what Todd Stansbury is going to do to bring GT Athletics into the 21st century, because that's where the real action is going to have to happen.

GT football is what it is: a parade of mediocrity in a world that no longer cares about even lip service to academics to the point where you can just make up a diploma give it away to players who don't even have to show up to class and you can collect your National Championship no problem and the NCAA just goes "uh derrrr they gotta agree it's fraud by their own definition or we can't". Making it worse is GT doesn't want to invest like it has to internally and they are at a permanent disadvantage on majors and in the GABOT.

Andy McCollum - Safeties/Recruiting Coordinator
Lamar Owens - Slot Backs/Special Teams Coordinator
Mike Sewak - Offensive Line Coach
Ron West - Co-Offensive Line Coach

On deck:
Ted Roof - Defensive Coordinator/Linebackers

I don't care if he did recruit Jordan-Swilling and his son is on the team, I've seen enough from Roof now too. Cavman dropped about a gajillion yards of passing offense and they still rolled for 40 points.

Fire all five.

Miami should be disqualified for wearing those Halloween costumes.

Your guys did look good, but more importantly you have a clear path to the CFP. A win over N.D. will put you in the mix. Two slots lost above you tonight but this win should put you in 5th or 6th position. A win over N.D. should put you in the top 4. I don't know what the committee will do with Wisconsin or Oklahoma, but while Wisconsin deserves a stronger ranking, I'm not so sure about the Sooners. 52 points is not indicative of a championship D.

And if any doubt remains you still likely have Clemson ahead.

Wisconsin doesn’t have a chance if Miami keeps with winning. Oklahoma is a bigger threat even if they have one loss.

Wisconsin has to go undefeated with their poor SOS. The PAC is out. Oklahoma & TCU still has a chance. ND is out with another loss, maybe out anyway against another 1 loss team (Geo or Bama) & with Oklahoma as a 1 loss champ. A close loss to ND may keep Miami in the mix with a possible elimination game against Clemson in the ACC CCG. An undefeated Miami is in with wins over ND & Clemson.

Today
1 Georgia
2 Alabama
3 ND
4 Clemson

5 Oklahoma
6 Miami
7 Wisconsin
8 TCU

CFP
1 Alabama 2 Clemson 3 Georgia 4 Oklahoma/Wisconsin
