GCU-Nevada Charity Game
This Sunday these two schools are playing to raise money for NorCal firefighters to help with relief. More schools should do this. Hope the game gets streamed.

Always cheer for my Wac brethren, especially vs a MWC opponent. I know most GCU fans are not like that, especially the Zombie Havocs. Not mature enough to see the big picture. That's my answer Alex.

Waiver does not allow it to be on tv or streamed from what I understand. Missouri and Kansas are finally playing each other again and this is the reason they gave.

Maybe because UMKC is not traded on NASDAQ and has 100000 online students funding it's athletics, that's why.

Destroyed. GCU needs to change their name to the Grand Canyon Corporation. Then I might gain an ounce of respect for calling themselves what they are but probably not.

Nope only schools that charge to view streams are in the WAC are NMSU and UMKC. Most of D1/D2/D3 and NAIA as well as Juco's have a free stream.

41-40 at halftime. Wolfpack is leading. I tuned in late. Anyone know why Josh Bruan is not playing?

RE: GCU-Nevada Charity Game
Dan Majerle's last game at GCU?

Or will the Suns go with an interim all season before hiring Majerle?

Timing is off. Majerle will have another shot at the Suns job in 3-5 years. I say he stays at GCU to finished the job he came to do. That is unless Lopes win the WACt & make the tourney this season. If that happens and Suns finish out w/interim HC, I put it at a coin flips chance he stays/goes.

He is just getting out of the concussion protocol, so coach didn't want to play him.

That is more in line with what I am thinking. Majerle wants to coach at least one season with a chance at the NCAA tourney.

What was the final score of the game? I'm too lazy to try and find it online.

81-72 Nevada... GCU played without Josh Braun and shot a horrendous percentage from behind the arc so the result could have been worse.

Thank you. That's not too shabby. Nevada is picked to win the MW.

GCU probably not as good as people might think. Looking forward to the sweep this season.

RE: GCU-Nevada Charity Game
Although it was a statistically ugly game, it does show the readiness and willingness of Sophomore Oscar Frayer to take his next step forward in team production. In Braun's absence, he led the Lopes in scoring (15 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals). At 6'6 and very athletic, he could become GCU's next premier player.
