2017 Bowl Games - Where do you want to be?
So let's assume your team gets bowl eligible, where would you like to go, who would you like to play?

Sat Dec.16 New Orleans Sun Belt/Conference USA - ESPN
Sat Dec.16 Cure American/Sun Belt - CBS Sports
Sat Dec.16 Camellia MAC/Sun Belt - ESPN
Sat Dec. 23 Dollar General MAC/Sun Belt - ESPN
Sat Dec. 30 Arizona Mountain West/Sun Belt - CBS Sports

The Camellia Bowl and Montgomery has been very friendly to App, but I'd like to play a team not from The MAC. The amount of tickets sold by App last bowl game was a tad lower than the first and I think a new location and opponent would reverse that.

I'd like to see App play in the New Orleans Bowl against either Marshall, USM or LaTech. I think any combination would have a great atmosphere and look great on TV.

I would prefer New Orleans for ULM, but at this point, the way our defense is playing I doubt we get eligible. I really don’t mind any of our bowls. Orlando and Arizona would even be fun.

ULM isn’t going to a bowl unless a miracle happens. They fd that up not playing hard Saturday.

RE: 2017 Bowl Games - Where do you want to be?
New Orleans or Orlando are my first choices. I would make a full weekend out of those games whereas with the Alabama games I'll mostly just be in and out with maybe a few hours of exploring the city.

Arizona would be fun, but travel costs would be tough.

Also, I wonder if the Cure Bowl would consider moving from the Citrus Bowl to Orlando City Stadium, since the smaller size of the latter is more in line with their attendance. It would make for a better atmosphere.

Since the Peach Bowl is out. I guess at this point.
I would like to see:

"Battle for the Palladium"
Troy vs MTSU
New Orleans Bowl

Maybe Camellia Bowl since its the Prime Time Game on Opening Bowl Day

As a Wolfpack fan that respects App, I hope for this order
Dollar General Dec 23
New Orleans Dec 16
Camellia Dec 16

Main reason, I don't have CBS SPORTS with PSVUE. I want to watch and root for the Mountaineers. Something I can say I will never do for ECU. Hoping we can work a series out with you. Would love to do something like 2 in Raleigh, 1 in Boone and 1 in Charlotte.

I would prefer App not play at the Camellia Bowl for a third straight year and agree with Yosef Himself that someone other that a MAC opponent would be desirable. That said the New Orleans or Dollar General Bowls would be my personal choice as both are in great cities for a long weekend. USM, Marshall, MTSU or LaTech would be fun matchups. No matter whom or where I will be there.

I want Tucson. I love the date since I'm off work that week already and like playing a MWC.

Cure is the one bowl of the four where we would take a crowd.

As an NMSU fan supporting a team that hasn’t been bowling since 1960, I’ll go see them play on Mars, just as long as it’s a bowl game.

Realistically, I would prefer the Arizona or New Mexico bowl (I believe they would trade for us if they could). But I also wouldn’t mind the Frisco or NO bowl.

Thanks Wolfpack fan! Respect you guys too and hope you keep doing well this year. Wouldn’t be opposed to the 2-1-1 but would prefer a 2-2. All games should be packed regardless.

RE: 2017 Bowl Games - Where do you want to be?
TV wise, I'd prefer the CBS Sports Network games since they'll actually make a concerted effort to respect and do their homework on both teams and won't spend hours talking about the College Football Playoffs.

Travel wise, I'd prefer Montgomery or Mobile.

Opponent wise: Unless a regional CUSA is waiting in New Orleans (Tech/USM/MTSU/WKU), I'd rather play the MWC in Tuscon. We've played a MAC team 6 straight years now, and are starting a long stretch of playing one AAC a year. We have zero games against CUSA scheduled in the future and only one MWC.

Probably did, but not out yet. May be out after this weekend though.

I would think you guys would travel well to the Camellia. Its 2 hours away and on a Saturday night. Sounds like an easy trip. Your fans could just drive home after the game easy. You're actually closer to Montgomery than USA is.

For the Cure, you'd need to get hotel rooms. Its a flight or a 6 hour drive each way too.

Schedule it for a couple years from now when you guys come back down to earth but yes as my brother is a state grad and I'm App it would be an amazing series in which we wouldn't miss a game

RE: 2017 Bowl Games - Where do you want to be?
Anything but Camellia. I don't know if I'll make the trip to the same little town in Alabama three years in a row. I've enjoyed my time in Montgomery, don't get me wrong, but enough is enough. Going to Montgomery again would create FBS dissonance in even the most pro-FBS App fans. It might even be more hurtful to our fan support long term than not making a Bowl at all.
