I'd be elated for us to go to any bowl, because it would mean we were winning games again...

Camellia would be a day trip for me unless I just planned a trip to Mobile after,

Cure is the one bowl of the four where we would take a crowd.

I would think you guys would travel well to the Camellia. Its 2 hours away and on a Saturday night. Sounds like an easy trip. Your fans could just drive home after the game easy. You're actually closer to Montgomery than USA is.

For the Cure, you'd need to get hotel rooms. Its a flight or a 6 hour drive each way too.

I think that is the point, to make a trip out of it.

Just pointing out that you talked about a crowd. Seems to me that Montgomery would provide the best chance for y'all to have a big crowd.

I've enjoyed my time in Montgomery, don't get me wrong, but enough is enough. Going to Montgomery again would create FBS dissonance in even the most pro-FBS App fans. It might even be more hurtful to our fan support long term than not making a Bowl at all.

We went to Mobile four years in a row. It is a hard sell to fans to keep going to the same place.

This is why I was hoping the Sun Belt would have more bowl tie-ins (even if they weren't tied-in every year). Need more variety. Was hoping that Charleston bowl game and that Little Rock bowl game would have gotten approved before the moratorium.

Yea,,,me too.

UTA has still been to a bowl more recently than NMSU (hoping that changes this year) and has more bowl wins than many SBC teams.

Any bowl would be nice, but I just don't think we would make it. That loss to Idaho is going cost us. I like Montgomery and New Orleans being it would be short trip and Cure would be fun just do more than bowl game. Arizona is worst case for us.

Right now, we're on the outside looking in. If we win against ULM, we can start to think about where we *might* go bowling.

There's a small but growing portion of our message board that quietly wants to play App State in a bowl.

I think that’s a minuscule portion.

If they keep winning it would be more fun than the MAC.

Two dudes. Better app than a MAC or CUSA school, unless it's WKU or USM or something
