Honestly this is the best I’ve ever felt as a UNT fan. This makes that 2015 season and the Portland State best down worth it. Now we just need to keep those grubby P5 fingers away from him.

You can forget that noise. If Seth Littrell & Frank Wilson continue to win, they'll be gone by mid December. (If Baylor doesn't start improving quickly, they should look at Littrell & Wilson....but that's a story for another day.) Just enjoy it while you can.

If he gets snatched you should look at this Offensive coordinator named Bill Legg. He should be #1 on your list.

He gone.
Which is why we can never build anything. Which is why everyone laughs at C-USA. Vicious cycle.
Winning dooms you.
Mediocrity is the only way to keep your coach, but gets you nowhere.
Welcome to C-USA.

Baylor will not get any better anytime soon. With the scandals they have had kids for the next few years anyway will stay away from them.

Has WKU's offense re-ignited? MTU is slipping with ODU, but probably not as far. FIU scraping and clawing for wins. UTSA should rebound quickly. This race is still wide-open.

Posts like yours amuse me. Baylor currently has the 29th ranked recruiting class nationally (according to 247) for 2018, and 4th ranked in the Big 12. Rivals says Baylor's 2018 recruiting class is ranked #22. If you believe they will be down long, you're sadly mistaken. It will take a couple of years to restock, but it will happen.

And they have 19 commitments... take out that in context the primary reason they are that high in the rankings (over teams like say Bama or USC ) is quantity not quality. I would expect them to land around 40 or worse.

With all due respect Rog, recruiting rank doesn't matter worth a hill of beans.. Good recruiting doesn't necessarily translate to on-field success

Gauntlet? Really? In Cusa? UNT doesn't have a game left with a Cusa team with a winning record. That's far from a gauntlet.

Army is 5-2, FAU and LaTech are both .500. Most importantly no one in CUSA is good enough to overlook any conference game.

Army is not a CUSA team and .500 isn't a winning record. Second part I agree with completely.

I agree, fully! Any of the remaining teams on our schedule have the potential to beat us. It's going to be a dog fight the rest of the way.

Gauntlet, you say? FAU is staring at a very interesting stretch of the 4 upcoming games: UNT, @ WKU, Marshall, @ LaTech

You want a "gauntlet" of good games? LA Tech has 6 games remaining, with 4 of them at home. The 4 home games are:

USM
UNT
FAU
UTSA

It doesn't get much better than that.

LA Tech has the opportunity remaining to shut EVERYBODY up in the west by going 4-0 at home, or Tech can tuck its' tail and limp home 0-4.

Here's what's going down: LT beats UNT. FAU beats UNT. Don't care who wins the USM/LT game. UAB wins out its cusa games (@USM and @UTSA main ones) and goes onto the champ game

One thing is certain.....whoever represents the WEST this year in the CCG, will DESERVE to be there. There's some very good football being played in the WEST this year.
