Yeh. Just let him ride out the contract. Save a little money. Y'all be fine.

(How funny would it be if a Sun Belt team takes two straight coaches from a school that spurned them?)

Leave him alone. He's ours once Satt leaves.

Mark Speir is doing a pretty darned good job at Western...

He's in my top 5, honestly.

no one?

if I'm a new coach coming in...
best case scenario: win 8-9 games, then GS AD low balls with another year to year contract with minimum raises

worst case scenario: win <4 games, gets harassed by super intense fans, blackmailed by GS AD to sign a shady contract then gets fired.

That would be funny. However we/UMass are kind of in the same boat. Whip is on the hot seat and needs multiple wins this season. That said, we have already poached a JMU Administrator.

With 7 games.. not sue how that's possible.

Depending on how serious Werts is hurt... I'm struggling to find a win right now.

Tulane lost to FIU...

Yeah, it's not that hard to win at Georgia Southern. You just have to not be an awful coach.

I meant, that is what a hypothetical coaching candidate could be thinking lol

Obviously I'm being facetious, but Georgia Southern is a tough place to coach for sure. lots of expectations and stress. I feel bad for Summers.

WCU is looking good. Nice call on Speir, but would he go to Stink? $$$$$$$ says yes.
