I just said the same thing to a friend. Best chance is to win it here

Holding breath through 2 timeouts is hard.

Unbelievable. I admire the call though. We had to do it.

Going for 2 was the right call. Just a great play by the defender to stop Eriksen. It hurts, but it was the right call

Hard to believe we have dropped 4 in a row, all tight games.

RE: Game Day Army
Well, we gotta win 4 out of our last 6 games to be bowl eligible. I see two, maybe three, that I'd feel confident in predicting a win. We will have to upset some teams.

Four losses by a combined 17 points. So painful.

Disagree wholeheartedly. They completely ate us up the entire second half. We had no answer on defense. Our offense was our best chance to win. We couldn't gain two yards, so we lost.

Usually I agree, however the defense wasn't getting off the field with Army 80+ yards away let alone 25 yards.

Based on how the game was playing out I think they made the right call, and almost got it.

It’s the correct call. You never showed you could stop their offense. Would have eventually gone for 2 in OT. That was our best chance to win.

RE: Game Day Army
Did we ever stop them when they were inside our redzone? I don't think we did.

Giving Army the football at our 25 in OT doesn't seem like a recipe for success. We'd be forced to match scores. In my opinion at least, going for 2 was the right call.

RE: Game Day Army
Dear Eagle Tough,
I disagree. We were not stopping Army's run game, and it was the only game they had. If, we get the conversion, they would have to go a long way to even get within field goal range. I know they had a couple of timeouts, but I don't believe they would have had enough time to accomplish the task at hand.

RE: Game Day Army
Honestly though, I would let Roback throw the ball on the play though. Maybe roll him out to the right and let him run if it's there.

Sigh. That hurt. I'm disappointed. Let's hope we're recovered for next weekend. A win over WMU would make us all feel better.

They looked like they audible out of the pass. Had the exact look they wanted for that option, they just made the play.
