On the bright side, they don't have Kareem Hunt anymore.

Seems like we beat a team with a guy named Kareem Hunt. Probably wasn’t the same one though.

RE: Bowl Projections after week 6
We've started the season 1-4, with Troy up next. So the informed theory would be that we will be 1-5. Historically that means we'll go into game 12 with a record of 5-6, fighting for a bowl game.

That's what I'm expecting anyway. Hopefully we go into the last game with a 7-4 record. A boy can dream can't he????

If everyone wins the games ESPN's predictor says they will win, Troy, App, Ark St, NMSU, ULM, and Ga St will be at least 6 wins.

If New Mexico State becomes bowl eligible, they are going to Arizona. That's just Bowl Selection 101. No bowl in Orlando or Alabama is going to choose them over a team from the southeast, regardless of record.

Hey, it could happen. I think if the Cajuns aren’t eligible and both ULM and Tech are, the ULM-Tech matchup would put the most butts in the seats for the NOLA Bowl. And in my opinion that is unquestioned. Not saying we would put more than the Cajuns and Tulane did, but there would be a lot of folks that would travel to NOLA to see the first matchup between us and Tech in 20 years.

I'll beat them to the punch. Yes, we all know GS has 1 bowl win to GSU's 0 bowl wins, but that wasn't the point of his post, it was bowl appearances. If GSU somehow makes it to a bowl maybe that will help with the endless Summer problems at GS. Food for thought.

History says that Tech would sit at home before playing ULM in a bowl game.
