Why is Colorado State ranked #5 on here?

They should not be ahead of Navy or Memphis... Colorado State is 3-2 and hasn't beaten anyone with a winning record. Their best win is against a 1-4 Oregon State.

Don't know why UTSA is that high. They beat Baylor, but Baylor lost to Liberty (who was owned by Jax State and lost to St. Francis).

Is it basketball season yet?

It's frustrating. not to have App in the top ten. Losing a third game against what Phil Steele ranked as the easiest schedule out of 130 FBS teams would make this a bit of a disappointing season.

Who cares if App isn't in the "Top 10" of some website that really doesn't matter in the whole scheme of football??? Other then message board posters, no one! App lost to a top5 Georgea team and shoulda beat an ACC bowl team in Wake. Just cause we don't have a marquee win doesn't mean we're not one the top G5 teams. Lets let the season play out before we get upset because we're not on a list that would allow us to brag about ourselves after 5 weeks of football ...

Whatever Steele wants to say Wake isnt a bad team and Georgia is a monster, I'm not gonna lie I hoped for a win against Wake but I'm not all that disappointed.

App lost to an undefeated Georgia team and a Wake team (who App should've beat) who lost their first game on a last second touchdown by Florida State. Phil Steele can suck it.

A case could still be made for Boise, they beat Troy, barely lost to a top 15 team, prior to having the bad loss to a 3-1 Virginia.

Both Boise and Troy had a ugly game.

I feel pretty confident we would win that game if we played again.

They are probably looking at other factors such as stats. Sure Baylor is awful but UTSA held them under 300 yards while no other team has. UTSA held TxSt under 200 yards total offense which is less than Colorado, App St or Wyoming.

I'd say UTSA deserves to be at least Top 10. They're 3-0 and have beaten everyone by an average of 23 points. Sure, the Baylor win isn't impressive at this point, but Baylor showed they have some moxy in the close loss to Oklahoma.

App doesn’t deserve top 10. Win. Win the game so we play and we are there. Lose to Georgia and Wake, we are left with excuses. Great teams win tough games. We don’t.
