I wasn't a fan of the last two Star Wars shows (Boba Fett in particular was not good, Obi-Wan Kenobi had its moments). But I'm not a big Star Wars fan in general - I still haven't seen most of the movies.

On the whole, E11 was a big step down from E10, but that's to be expected, since E10 was the climax of that arc.

That said, the very end of E11 was legendary, and may have singlehandedly moved Luthen Rael into my Top 10 Star Wars characters of all time. It was definitely one of my favorite moments since Luke showed up in Mandalorian.

I *hated* Boba Fett. What a waste of a show that was. Obi-Wan was marginally better, but had too many wtf moments for me to really like it.

If you haven't seen the recent Star Wars movies, don't bother. Episode 7 is pretty good, but Eps. 8 and 9 are abominations. Rogue One is awesome, though... just "different" from traditional Star Wars, much like Andor.

Solo is OK, but had a LOT of issues. In more capable hands, it could've been great. As it is, I watched it once, and will probably never watch it again.

The new Quantum Leap reboot has been decent. If you haven't seen it, check it out.

The White Lotus on HBO - the whitest show on TV I laughingly call it (it's done by a showrunner named Mike White - the word white is in the title, and basically the entire cast of season 2 is white which is a rarity these days).

But season 2 wrapped up last night and the finale was phenomenal. I think season 2 was better than season 1 (which had a crazy ending too). It's sort of The Love Boat/Fantasy Island on steroids. Each season, you meet a varied cast of spoiled rich folks on vacation in a super luxurious resort hotel (season 1 is Hawaii, season 2 is Italy). In the very first episode, you find out someone dies but you don't find out who until the very end. In the meantime, you learn about the cast and all of their crazy, rich stories.

It's very adult - has a lot of nudity (and gay themes, which isn't surprising because Mike White is gay in real life). But there are lots of heterosexual scenes as well. And it's hysterical, well acted and actually pretty engrossing in trying to figure out who dies. Beautifully acted and filmed as well.

Not for everyone, but typical Sunday night HBO fare.

Another great HBO show debuted this past weekend - The Last Of Us. I've never played the video game, but you don't need to be a gamer to really enjoy it. Definitely has some Walking Dead vibes, but maybe a few other post-apocalyptic shows have influences too (like The Stand).

The first episode partially takes place in Austin, Texas (and that part was amazing), then the 2nd half of the premiere takes place in Boston.

I hope it keeps up the promise of the first episode.

I don't believe this has been posted but I just finished 1899 on Netflix. Same guy that made Dark. Very interesting, only downside is there was supposed to be a 2nd and possible 3rd season but apparently it is not being renewed so a few threads not wrapped up at the end but still very good.

I'm holding out hope that an international financer will pick up a second season or at least a TV movie. The creators are pretty influential.

I went back and watched Andor.. I got sucked in after episode 3.. At times I forget it's a SW show. I have 2 more left.

I have been watching the new Night Court. 3 episodes in, it's not too bad.
