Since you are picking game results apart with a fine-toothed comb might as well throw Toledo down into the second tier since it took a field goal as time expired to beat a 1-4 Tulsa team at home. Their two wins against FBS competition have come against teams that have a combined 1-9 record against FBS competition by an average margin of 8 points.
I'm not saying I disagree with Ohio being ranked below Toledo. It's just that I think your rankings seem to be more based on preseason expectations more than anything.
I'd like to add that Ohio really only got blown out in the 2nd quarter against Purdue. The Boilermakers outscored OU 24-0 in the 2nd quarter alone.
I get that it's a 60 minute game, but I don't think that the final score accurately represents their overall play.
I have Ohio 2nd. Outside of the (much-improved) Purdue game, they've been solid and have defended their MAC East title solidly thus far. Also, this doesn't go into my rankings, but I'm looking at their schedule looking for their next tough game, and UT is about it.
I wish I felt that way. I see CMU and Miami before them and think both will be very tough games that could go either way. Not looking forward to ending the season IN Buffalo either. that place has generally been a house of horrors for Ohio
For sure about CMU. They're always capable of taking down a top team (NIU these past few years.) I'm not sold on Miami though

It's odd how much worse we've done against them than you guys. Well with BG it was just the couple years with Matt Johnson. I don't know what the deal is with CMU.
