I remember three years ago Marshall fans saying they'd never sign a home and home with App and were so far ahead of us, today some are wishing to

You are most likely referring to what I said, which was don't expect to sign a H/H with Marshall until you are an established IA program. And well the H/H that was signed doesn't take place until 2021 and 2022 which will be almost 2 recruiting cycles into Appys IA tenure.

No one at either Appy or Marshall is on campus that will play in those 2 games, unless they will be a 5th year senior.

I never said anything he said wasn't true, it just wasn't necessary. I was just pointing out that those schools all used to play eachother in the FCS and have more history with eachother than they do with startups. Like it or not, y'all used to be in the FCS with the rest of us regardless of your success in the FBS. You'd think a fanbase that was used to that kind of success wouldn't have little-man syndrome every time a college football fan breathes in their direction.

I think Marshall needs to be in the mix and possibly MT. Geographically they align better with ODU/Appy. No need for the Bama teams, I see them better suited to play with LA teams and Ark State.

Ohio isn't even a pipe dream or wishful thinking. They are like Miami OH and a few other MAC schools. They will never leave the MAC, they have been there since the beginning in 1946.

If LA Tech wants to stick with the Texas schools then let Troy/FAU/FIU/Charlotte play Rock Paper Scissors for the last spot. This would give us a round robin schedule in football and a 16 game basketball schedule where everyone plays each other twice a year.

Every conference has to have someone to beat up on. I mean the A10 has Drexel, Duquesne and St Joes and the BE has DePaul and George Mason.
